Scott Lewis

Scott Lewis is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Spartan Investment Group, LLC (SIG) and has led several successful real estate projects ranging from single family flips to ground-up development of self-storage. To date, SIG operates over 5500 storage units, 200 RV pads, has completed $11M in development projects, has $110M more underway, and raised over $30M in private equity.  

As the Chief Executive Officer, Scott is responsible for developing business strategies and plans ensuring their alignment with short-term and long-term objectives. In addition to Spartan, Scott is also in the US Army Reserves and is an Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran. Scott graduated from Michigan State University with degrees in Chemistry and Marketing, from Catholic University with an MS in Management, and from Georgetown University with a Certificate in Project Management.

In his free time, Scott enjoys spending time with his wife, Lindsay, mountain biking, skiing, and chasing their Jack Russell Terriers around the yard. 

Ryan Gibson

Ryan Gibson is the Chief Investment Officer and the Co-Founder of SIG. He has organized over $30M of private equity for Spartan’s projects. Ryan has experience managing the development of SIGs projects in challenging markets.

For SIG, Ryan is responsible for investor relations and capital raises for projects. Ryan is also a highly experienced commercial airline pilot. Ryan graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in Business, with concentrations in Marketing, Management, and Advertising.

Ben Lapidus

Ben Lapidus is the Chief Financial Officer for Spartan Investment Group LLC, where he has applied his finance and business development skills to construct from scratch a portfolio of over $100M assets under management, build the corporate finance backbone for the organization, and organize over $20M of debt capital from the firm.  In addition to completing over 50 real estate transactions at and prior to Spartan, Ben is also the founder and host of the national Best Ever Real Estate Investing Conference and managing partner of Indigo Ownerships LLC.

Before Spartan, Ben founded and sold a multi-million dollar study abroad company and worked with several start-ups through IPO or acquisition.  He graduated from Rutgers University with dual degrees in Finance and Economics where he founded the Rutgers Entrepreneurial Society.

Lindsay Lewis

Lindsay Lewis is the Director of Business Intelligence for Spartan Investment Group, LLC. Applying 10+ years of experience in competitive and advanced analytics across the spectrum from data sourcing to integration and exploitation, Lindsay develops and implements the strategy for leveraging data, technology and research to quickly identify opportunities for SIG and its investors.

Lindsay graduated from George Mason University with a bachelor’s degree in Biology and a master’s degree in Biodefense.

Jackie Gibson

Jackie Gibson is the Director of Operations for Spartan Investment Group, LLC. In this role Jackie is leveraging her 10+ years of logistics, procurement, project management, and engagement experience to increase quality, profitability and efficiency for SIG’s projects.

Jackie graduated from Mercyhurst University with a bachelor’s degree in Hotel Restaurant and Institutional Management.

Carrie Koebel

Carrie Koebel is the Staff Accountant for Spartan Investment Group. She brings with her more than 20 years of experience including but not limited to sales, recruiting and customer service, personnel management, and financial and accounting roles with international corporations. In addition, since 2013, Carrie has owned and managed rental properties in Washington, D.C., and Breckenridge, Colorado.

Carrie graduated from the University of Missouri with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

Lauren Brychell

Lauren Brychell is the Marketing Associate for Spartan Investment Group, LLC. In this role, Lauren brings her skills in marketing, social media, project management, and market research to increase brand recognition, online presence, and market awareness for SIG’s projects. Her experience includes building brands from the infancy stages, launching new product lines, and advertising.

Lauren graduated from Belmont Abbey College with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Marketing and a minor in Entrepreneurship.

Tyler Burke

Tyler Burke is the Investment Associate for Spartan Investment Group, focusing primarily on new property acquisitions and business development. Prior to Spartan, Tyler was an Associate at Baceline Investments LLC, a Denver based private equity real estate investment firm. In this role, he was responsible for $63,000,000 of acquisitions in under three years. Tyler is a Denver native, where he attended Colorado State University majoring in Economics.

Gerrit Van Maanen

As Construction Project Manager for Spartan Investment Group, Gerrit brings his skills in project management, financial analysis, and residential construction to oversee Spartan’s development and capital improvement initiatives. Prior to this role he worked as a Financial Analyst for IBM.

Gerrit graduated from The University of Iowa with a bachelor’s degree in Finance.

Danika Anderson

Danika Anderson is the Corporate Property Manager at Spartan Investment Group. Danika executes Spartan’s strategies related to property management operations by directing the team members on the assigned portfolio of properties, and by implementing the policies, procedures, and practices that enable each facility to meet and exceed budgeted financial goals and achieve operational excellence.

Before joining Spartan in February 2020, Danika was a Property Manager for Greystar where she managed multi family communities in the Denver metro area.

Danika graduated from The University of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism-advertising and public relations.

Tristan Cottarel

Tristan Cottarel is the Finance Analyst at Spartan Investment Group. Tristan brings his experience with financial analysis and market research to assist the Finance, Acquisitions, and Business Intelligence teams with market feasibility studies, property due diligence, as well as financial planning and analysis. 

Tristan graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Real Estate Finance and an emphasis in Real Property Development.

Ted Greene

Ted Greene is a third-generation Seattleite who married his high school sweetheart. Ted and Melissa have two children attending the same High School where they first met. After graduating from Seattle Pacific University with a BA in Finance Ted spent 24 years in the financial services industry as an investment advisor and Fiduciary.

Danielle Tricarico

Danielle Tricarico is the Real Estate Administrative Assistant and Office Manager for Spartan Investment Group.  For 13 years, she worked in the Real Estate Investments Department for a public pension plan and prior to that as a paralegal in the student loan industry.  Danielle has earned an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a Finance concentration.
